Biography

Dr. Joseph Orinya Obande is an Associate Professor and Honorary Consultant Neurosurgeon with the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, whose journey is a testament to the goodwill of perseverance, passion, and purpose.

Born in Otukpo, he completed primary education at St. Augustine's Primary School in 1983 and proceeded to Government Secondary School, all in Otukpo, Benue State. Being the Best Graduating Science Student in 1988, Dr. Obande gained admission into the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, where he earned his MBBS degree in 1998.
