Medical Laboratory Scientists, University of Abuja Teaching Hospital now have a new Co- ordinator. He is Mr. Paul Onyeka. He succeeds Mrs. Rose Yakubu Wonder who retired recently after the mandatory years allowed in the civil service.
At the handing and taking over ceremony in the office of the Director of Administration, Mrs. Modupe Khadijat Adebanjo, the out-going Co-ordinator, Mrs. Yakubu Wonder expressed gratitude to the Chief Medical Director and Members of Top Management Committee of the Hospital for the opportunity to serve. Highlighting the successes and challenges in the laboratories during her tenure, Mrs. Wonder said despite the challenges, the resillience of the scientists was quite commendable.
“I am happy that I am handing over successfully. I wish my successor, Mr. Paul Onyeka all the best. With the Management support, I believe he will do well,” she said.
While accepting the hand over note from his predecessor, Mr. Onyeka said he was grateful to Management for finding him worthy to succeed Mrs Wonder as Co-ordinator. “I appreciate the good work you started and I promise to build on it.” He added.
