Miss Michelle Animasaun has recorded her firsts in her life journey. Besides being the first baby of Mr. and Mrs. Omodeleola Animasaun’s family, she also emerged as the first baby of the year, 2019 at the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital. Of many other expectant mothers and would be mothers, Michelle Animasaun was delivered of Mrs. Animasaun at 12;28 am on 1st January, 2019 to become the first baby of the year.

Presenting material and cash gifts to the baby on behalf of the Management of the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, the Chairman, Medical Advisory Committee of the Hospital, Dr. Nicholas Baamlong, thanked Mr. and Mrs. Animasaun for choosing the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital as the health facility to have their baby.
Also speaking, the Head, Department of Nursing, Mrs. Lydia Chukwu emphasized the need for the family to ensure that the baby receives all routine vaccinations and placed on exclusive breastfeeding for the first six months.

In a remark on behalf of the family, her father, Mr. Animasaun expressed satisfaction over the warm reception they received from the staff of the hospital even when his wife did not register with the hospital for anti-natal services. He thanked the Management of the Hospital for the gifts and promised to personally ensure that their daughter receives all routine vaccinations.
