Chairman of Gwagwalada Area Council in the Federal Capital Territory, Hon. Adamu Mustapha Danze wants a working relationship that would ensure all round medical treatment for indigent patients of the Area Council origin with the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital. This is with a view to ensuring that such patients get treatment and their medical bills promptly paid.
Hon. Mustapha Danze stated this when he led the Council Executive Committee on a courtesy visit to the Chief Medical Director of the Hospital, Professor Bisallah Ekele. He said the sitting of the hospital in Gwagwalada has brought positive impact on the healthcare of the people of the Area Council.
Responding, the Chief Medical Director, Professor Bissallah Ekele thanked the Chairman and members of his executive committee for the visit. Professor Ekele emphasized the need for the Area Council to have a permanent presence in the hospital by taking up a project and having it named after the Council.
